A community based home for 9 adults with severe learning and physical difficulties

The Karuna Home was set up and is managed by The Karuna Project Limited.

The Management Committee is made up of parents and other relatives of some of the residents. They are:

• Susan Montgomery

The registered manager of The Karuna Home is Mrs Heather Wright RNLD, who has a National Vocational Qualification in Management, level 4.

On-going training is a priority in Karuna and our workers are constantly striving to add to their range of skills and qualifications.

The staff have had varied experience ranging from experience with adults and children with learning disabilities, care of the elderly, working with children and caring for family members.

Our aim is to maintain a high ratio of staff to residents.
